Yooni opened the door and met the greatest surprise of her life. Reggie was standing at the door looking dapper.

"Uhm, Yani! You might want to come and see who our guest is."

"Whom could it b—" Yani was equally shocked when she saw Reggie.

"Uhm do you guys want me to keep standing outside or are you going to invite me in?"

"Huh, sorry, our bad! Please, come in. Wow! Uhm, I don't even know what to say." Yooni was at a loss for words.

"How about 'nice to see you again. How have you been?'
That wouldn't be such a bad start, would it now?" Reggie suggested with a smile.

"What brings you here, Reggie? And how did you find us?" Yani asked calmly.

"Your voice still carries the same effect, Yani. My heart almost jumped out of my chest. To answer your question, I'm the owner of Unicorn Labs. How long do you imagine it would take me to find two people in a
town as small as this, with the resources at my disposal? I thought I saw Yooni at the party and I decided to look you up and come check on you."

"Thank you, Reggie. I see you really did well for yourself. Congratulations, I'm happy for you."

"Thank you Yooni. How would you like a tour of the new branch we just opened?"

The girls stared at each other for a moment. Yooni spoke on behalf of both of them.

"We'd love that."

Reggie was happy to hear that.

"Excellent! I'll send a car to come pick you up tomorrow afternoon."

Yani forced a wry smile.

''I'll take my leave then; I still have a meeting with some investors. See you guys tomorrow.

Reggie took his leave immediately after he finished. On his way out, he put a call through to someone.

"Dr. Ross, please have everything prepared for tomorrow. Our lab rats will be ready by tomorrow afternoon. We need to finish up soon and head back to HQ by the end of the week"

"Yes, sir." A voice responded at the other end of the call.

The next day, Reggie had Yani and Yooni over in his company.

"Welcome to my lab guys. I'll be honest, a part of me thought you would cancel at the last minute, but I'm glad you didn't. Please, make yourselves comfortable."

"Whoa! You've got something big in here. This is gigantic" Yooni exclaimed; she could not contain her excitement.

"Thank you. Susan, could you get my friends here cups of coffee, please? Thank you." Reggie said to his secretary who brought the duo in.

"I'm glad you like what you see here. I'd like to give you a personal tour of this place but there is something I'd like to discuss with you first."

"Go ahead. What is it?" Yani asked.

"You see, ever since I was a kid, I've always dreamt of using my talent to help the world. Now, I know exactly how I'm going to do that; there's just one little problem."

YOONI

"What? What is it?" Yooni asked.

"I need something from you guys. I have a proposal that we become partners. You give me just a bit of your DNA for my scientists to work with and I'll reward you greatly."

"What exactly are you planning to do with our DNA?" Yooni asked.

"Well, we're going to make an army, the first of its kind with superpowers. The unbeatable army."

Reggie noticed the look of shock and surprise on the face of the sisters.

"That's right. I know you have powers; I've known for a very long time."

Yani nodded.

"That explains your hostility towards us in the months before your adoption."

"Yea, you can imagine the disappointment when I realized I was friends with liars and betrayers. But that's in the past. Now, to the matter at hand, what do you say?"

"Why do you need an army, and who's going to be in control of this army?" Yani asked with suspicion; she could sense something was wrong.

"I, of course! Who else?" Reggie answered.

"Yooni, get up, we're leaving. This guy's insane."

"Leaving? Guys, we don't have to fight over this. Come on, let's not do this the hard way." Reggie said with a smirk.

"Yani's right. Somehow, you want to control the world by using us as tools? This is insanity."

"What makes you think you can leave so easily?" Reggie asked.

Yooni and Yani stopped when they heard what Reggie said.

"You know, we were going to invite you to dinner but now, we see that you're already full of yourself." Yani responded.

"Then how about we have some refreshments then? Susan, we’re
still waiting on that coffee." Reggie said as he pressed the green button below his desk. Instantly, the entire office was locked down. Yooni tried to
fly out quickly but could not due to the energy field barrier. Yani tried to form weapons from the things around her but found out she was getting very weak quickly.

"You didn't think I had contingency plans, did you? I guess you still underestimate me."

"What's happening to us?” Yooni asked faintly before passing out.

Hours later, Yani woke up and tried to wake Yooni.

"Yooni! Yooni! Wake up!"

"What happened? Where are we?"

Both of them were suspended in the air with chains. Yani's hands were covered in metal which prevented her from being able to create any weapon.

"What happened to Reggie? I can't believe how much he's changed"

"This is not the time to be emotional, Yooni. We have to find a way out of here."

"How do we get out of here? There's got to be a way out. Yooni, you've got to think." Yooni said to herself like she always did whenever she was stressed. Just then, Reggie entered with his scientist.

"Oh, great! Our friends are finally awake. It didn't have to go down this way, you know."

Yooni was frustrated.

"Why are you doing this, Reggie? You don't know what you're doing."

"Oh, I do. I know exactly what I'm doing. Did you really think I came to knock on your door because I wanted to reunite with you two? Oh no! I know better than to be friends with backstabbers."

"What are you talking about? Yea, sure, we denied having powers when you asked us, but we were acting under strict orders. But that doesn't make us backstabbers. Is that why you're doing this?"

"Shut up, Yani. You didn't think I heard you back then? I trusted you guy! When other kids laughed at me for following you around and even asked me to be wary of you, I defended you because I thought you were my
real friends. Turned out I was a fool. That afternoon when you asked me to teach you geometry and I said you should go wait for me, you didn't know I heard you, Yani. I heard you tell Yooni that you wanted to exploit me and just use my talent to make toys for you. That was just before you admitted to having lied to me about not having powers. I heard you loud and clear."
